This is my first week of writing on Weekly Watch. Welcome to DikshantMehta.com and today I am writing about the movies, series, documentaries, or something fun to watch over the internet that I want to recommend.

The first movie is

Finch (2021)

Finch (2021)

After a long time, I see a movie by Tom Hanks, one of my favorites. He played a role of an engineer named Finch, and a survivor on the post-apocalyptic earth, with a dog, and designed an AI robot. He created a humanoid or partial humanoid we can say, and that’s cool. I got hooked with the movie after seeing his success in the creation of that. But what’s the purpose of engineering that AI robot is really heartwarming, and the story itself. It is so warm.

If you have watched Chappie, you gonna get the same vibe. But different plot obviously, and a lot warmer. Finch is all about the machine and human successful coordination in the worse times. And, also give us a perspective on what a successful AI should look like.

I think you should give this movie a go. I will watch it again if it will release in theatres in India.

The next movie is

Red Notice (2021)

Red Notice (2021)

First of all Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, and The Rock in a movie. You should give it a go, for the cast only. If you are a lover of ancient antiques or artifacts robbery kind of plots, this movie is so much to give. The suspense, jokes, action, adventure, and open ending for the next part.

It’s a fun watch movie. If you have watched more serious robbery movies with the greatest plans in the history of Cinematic robberies, then this one could not be up to that mark, but still good for a one-time watch.

Also, currently watching

Melancholia

Melancholia Poster

I am so much into Korean Dramas, made myself invested from my college days. I have made like half-century. The reasons to start Melancholia; first Im Soo Jung, second Genius Mathematicians, third School Corruption, and last Wrongful accusation. All the right ingredients, I was in. And, I am still positively in. Well not recommended if this would going to be your first Korean drama. Watch Laughter in Waikiki instead, it could be best for the start.

Melancholia is a story of a Mathematics teacher, a genius student, and a corrupted school.

Also currently watching a Japanese drama named

Love Letter

Scene from the First Episode

Originally its name in Japanese is Koi Desu, which means Love Letter. Though the plot is good. But, as usual, the Japanese shows are like that, they are sometimes cliche, and a lot open. But still, I am enjoying it. Because it’s ongoing, that’s why less painful.

It’s a story of a girl who has amblyopia which makes her see colors vaguely and attends a college for blinds. And on the other hand, he met a delinquent boy ( as common in Jdramas). It’s not recommended for all, but if you like the plot, it’s good to have a little diversity in your watchlist.

Last is

Elementary

Best Sherlock-Watson Companionship

I am on Season 2, right now. A Sherlock Holmes plot obviously but if I talk about Season 1, it was a surprise Sherlock’s plot.

Because he is not residing at 221B Baker Street, London, he is in New York. Yes, and he was a drug addict. Moreover, his sober companion is Joan Watson. Right, a woman is playing the role of Watson. Now, think about Moriarty and Irene Adler. The suspense is good, and the cases are also fun. Also, there is so much to learn in each episode.

I am not gonna compare it with other Sherlock’s series. It is unique in its own way.

Give it a try if you are into detective shows, especially Sherlock’s fan.

That’s all for this week. Next week will come up with more updates.

Don’t forget to comment about your opinion, and recommend me some watchable, down in the comment section.
